These are all things that went through my mind as a first-time buyer and later, as a first-time investor.

Finding the answers to questions and even just understanding the processes isn’t always easy and can take a lot of internet trawling.

I bought my first house in 2004. It was a 2 bedroom terraced property in the North West and cost £70,000. It had red carpet in the bathroom, damp walls and was on a busy main road. Little did I know it would be more than my house It was my first investment project, which took time, effort and what little money I had. But eventually, I made it a home.

Fast forward to 2022 and 11 projects later, I have gained knowledge, experience and more importantly learned many lessons which I wanted to share with others.

After investing in property for years, I saw a gap for first-timers… first-time buyers, first-time investors, first-time renovators and even first-time home movers. When I started out in property, there wasn’t enough information and support around. And so, North West Property Mum was born on TikTok to offer tips, and advice to make understanding property simple and fun.

In under a year, I was inundated with requests for help on social media platforms during their buying process – that is how Propertyable came about.

Property made simple. No Jargon. We say it as it is. We answer the questions that don’t always get answered.
